Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the BridgeOS browser extension and its accompanying online services (e.g. sign-in, cloud sync, membership billing, and service health checks). We try to process data only to the extent necessary to provide the product.
Data We Process
Section titled “Data We Process”Account & sign-in (optional)
Section titled “Account & sign-in (optional)”- When you sign in with Google inside the extension, we receive and store the necessary OAuth identity information (such as user ID, email, display name, and avatar — as provided by Google).
- We do not receive your Google password.
Web content & interaction data (mostly processed locally)
Section titled “Web content & interaction data (mostly processed locally)”- When you use the extension on supported websites (e.g. ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini), the extension may read and modify the necessary page content (such as the chat text, title, and relevant metadata you choose to migrate/save/insert) to enable cross-platform migration, local library, and delivery workflows.
- This content is processed locally by default. Only when you enable cloud sync or explicitly use online features will relevant data be transmitted over the network.
Device & runtime information
Section titled “Device & runtime information”- For cloud sync reliability, abuse prevention, and debugging, we may process a device identifier (generated by the extension), request timestamps, IP address, User-Agent, error stacks, and basic access logs.
Cloud sync data (optional)
Section titled “Cloud sync data (optional)”- When you enable cloud sync, we store the data you choose to sync (e.g. library items/index, sync state, and required metadata).
- This may include chat content or snippets depending on how you use the extension.
Membership & payments (optional)
Section titled “Membership & payments (optional)”- If you purchase a membership, we record the order ID, plan (monthly/quarterly/yearly), amount, payment status, and the associated account information.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full payment card number or similar sensitive payment credentials (subject to the provider’s capabilities).
How We Use the Data
Section titled “How We Use the Data”- Provide core features: cross-platform migration/delivery, local library, and (optional) cloud sync.
- Maintain sessions, sync state, and device management to reduce conflicts and improve stability.
- Perform billing and membership entitlement checks (e.g. Pro quota, validity period).
- Security, abuse prevention, and incident troubleshooting.
Sharing
Section titled “Sharing”- Google: for OAuth sign-in.
- Cloudflare: infrastructure provider for hosting Workers, storage, and network logs.
- Payment providers: for order creation, payment processing, and webhook callbacks (we receive the payment result to activate membership).
We do not sell your data. We only share data with third parties when necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, or with your authorization.
Storage & Retention
Section titled “Storage & Retention”- Local storage: local feature data (e.g. your library) is stored in your browser extension storage by default.
- Cloud storage (when cloud sync is enabled): synced data is stored in our cloud service for cross-device access and synchronization.
- Logs: we retain necessary access/error logs for security and debugging purposes and rotate/clean them within a reasonable period.
Your Choices & Rights
Section titled “Your Choices & Rights”- You can use parts of the product without signing in. Sign-in / cloud sync / membership are optional features.
- You can sign out, disable cloud sync, or uninstall the extension at any time to stop further data processing.
- If you need cloud data deletion or have privacy questions, please contact us via the project repository Issues or the support channel provided by the maintainer.

Section titled “Changes”We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date on this page will be updated accordingly.
