Getting Started

BridgeOS is a browser extension that connects your cross-platform AI chat workflow across ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini / NotebookLM.

Think of it as three things:

1. Transfer: send selected text (or a quote) to another AI platform quickly.
2. Local Library: save/search your conversations locally and reuse them later.
3. Cloud Sync (optional): sign in to sync data across devices and enable membership entitlements.

Where to find features

• Popup: quick settings (language/theme, Global Quick Send, default NotebookLM notebook).
• Hub: full-feature pages (Library / Cloud Sync / Membership).
• In-page UI: overlays and buttons directly inside ChatGPT / NotebookLM, etc.

Recommended first workflow

1. Install the extension and pin it: see Install & Permissions.
2. (Optional) Enable Global Quick Send (requires “All sites” permission): see Global Quick Send.
3. (Optional) Set a default NotebookLM notebook if you plan to send content to NotebookLM: see First Run.
4. Start using it on supported platforms:
   • Select text → send to ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini/NotebookLM
   • Type $$ in the prompt → search Library and insert a quote: see Inline Insert ($$)
5. Open Hub from the popup (“Hub”) to access:
   • Local Library
   • Cloud Sync
   • Membership

Privacy

BridgeOS is local-first by default. Cloud features only work after you explicitly enable and sign in. See Privacy Policy.
